Jobs – Flash Designer/Programmer

Northern Lights Technology is currently looking for a flash designer/programmer. 2yrs of experience working with Flash (School counts) is required. Anyone age 16 or older will be considered. You will be working from your own computer, and all work is handled over the Internet or phone.

Responsibilities

• Designing flash animations or interactive games/sites
• Working with our graphics designers and programmers to produce what the client wants
• Writing reusable code
• Delivering the product on time

Qualifications

• 2 years of flash/actionscript experience (School counts)
• A good imagination and plenty of creativity
• A portfolio with at least 8 projects so we can see your design style and the type of projects you’ve worked on
• Good knowledge of related programs (Adobe suite)
• A team player, good communications skills

Bonus

• If you've worked on a game for a popular name such as Armor Games
• Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or XML

Jobs – Marketing Engineer

Northern Lights Technology is looking for a Marketing Engineer, that is a person skilled in Search Engine Optimization and E-Commerce. 2 years of experience (School Counts) is a must. Anyone age 16 or up will be considered. You will be working from your own computer, and all work is handled over the Internet or phone.

Responsibilities

• Working with programmers and designers to make the site optimized for search engines
• Responding quickly, and working quickly
• Working with programmers and designers to develop powerful e-commerce solutions
• Setting up and analysing various site statistic tools

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum of SEO and E-commerce experience
• Very knowledgeable and a quick learner
• Should have a strong understanding of (X)HTML
• Should have a basic understanding of PHP
